"Required reading for Grateful Dead fans and hippie survivors" according to A. Johnson. This is book details not just the rise and revolutions of The Grateful Dead, but the history of the Beat and Hippie movements, in which the band figures so prominently. I had bought a number of Dead records back in the day, but now I'm listening to many more recordings from studio and their endless touring Odyssey, and digging the truth in them like a squirrel savoring acorns from a huge, discovered. Gary said Wow missed but still. I missed the grateful dead when the were here. Went too one concert thought the music was to loud. but reading aces back to back was alot like being able to not make that decision. And become a dead head.. I've read about every Grateful Dead book out there and always enjoy them, but this is just terrible Glenn Freeman This is awful.
