"Highly readable" according to A Customer. OK, I have to confess I checked my local library first, but they didn't have it, so I got out my credit card.I have read as much as possible about the von Trapp family from many sources but still gleaned much new information from this book.I don't believe many people realize how old the children were before they finally quit after years of touring.And I thought the best part was at the end when she told what happened to each of the children. They have lived diverse and meaningful lives and both Mar. Great Gift I bought this for my mother for Mothers Day, she enjoyed it very much. She indicated to me that it was an informative, easy read with nice pictures.. Interesting, but lack of details Isabelle I really enjoyed reading this book, the Trapp family's story is simply incredible and inspiring, but I can't help feeling a little annoyed. It seems like either Agathe wasn't always informed on the cause of many things that happened in her life or she just thought we wouldn't care knowing. But I think we do !I suggest to everyone interested in reading this book to read "The Story of the Trapp Family Singers" by Maria Augusta Trapp, Agathe's second mother, in the first place, and then read Agathe's
