And a. Everything (and probably way more than you really want to know) about this great artist. As a long-time fan of Al Stewart, I had to buy this book. I bought it used, at Amazon. If you are not a fan, you will probably be bored to tears. In other words, I'd not recommend you make this book your introduction to the musician. Listen to his music, instead! For people who are fans, this is worth the read and maybe even worth the time it will take you to read it. Chock full of interesting facts and stories!. A disappointment Having enjoyed the music of Al Stewart for more than twenty years, I was looking forward to reading this book when I first heard about it a few months back. Unfortunately, it is a disappointment on several levels.First and most obviously, it is poorly produced. The photos are grainy, fuzzy, and often over- or under-exposed. The type is borderline microscopic, and sure to induce tension headaches among all but the most eagle-eyed readers.
