Miss Watanabe said Five Stars. Another masterpiece from Eric Jager. He really makes history come alive.. Nathan Pittman said More Civil War than Crime and Detection. I can't help but feel that I was a bit misled by the way that this book is marketed and presented. The subtitle, after all, assures me that this is a true tale of crime and detection. However, there are only about two or three chapters that deal with the investigation of the crime itself.
