It feels good to have all those words in your hands. Your favorite songs are right there for you to read their message. The book shows in his own handwriting how he scribbled the songs down. It makes you feel like you were "there". However, because these are songs, I was disappointed when I saw that he didn't. this book is all about design The first thing you should know about Springsteen's book SONGS is that it is a coffee table book for his upward-mobile-now-a-little-bit-older fan base. If you are looking for some real insight into the Artistry of the Boss, this book will hold little more than tangential appeal.
