"Great book!" according to victoriao1205. This book was purchased for a college class. This was very enjoyable read about Burnham and his life and a great account of the worlds fair and plan of Chicago.very enjoyable read if you love Chicago history, architecture, and urban planning.

Hines is professor emeritus of history at the University of California Los Angeles. Thomas S. His other books include Richard Neutra and the Search for Modern Architecture and William Faulkner and the Tangible Past: The Architecture of Yoknapatawpha.
