Everybody's Grandpa J. Sheppard I have always been a huge fan of Grandpa Jones, I personally feel he was one of the most underrated performers. I read this book and did recieve some insight into who Grandpa Jones was. I was a little disappointed though, I like to listen to Bill Anderson's"Visit With The Stars. Great Story From A Fine Gentleman Great writing coupled with funny anecdotes make this one of my favorite books on the history of country music. My musical taste tends towards Jazz but I have a great respect for traditional country. "Grandpa" Jones became a senior citizen behind the mike when he reached the rip. "Great book" according to Margaret Robertson. Since I was a fan of Grandpa Jones and recently met his son at Mountain View, AR, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and especially the photos of Grandpa Jones and his friends and people he worked with. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the wonderful kind of musi
