Joseph Wambaugh's gift for writing covers both genres, and I can only wonder how he supplied so many details pertinent to the sordid story of Glendale's most notorious civil servant, John Leonard Orr. The research that went into this narrative, 396 page account boggles my mind. I do trust the accuracy; it makes sense. Wambaugh labors through the two tr. Mr. Patrick N.
