"Wonderful ecclectic collection" according to Vicki H.. This is a great book of Baroque music. There is music included from some of the lesser known (or popular) Baroque era composers. I believe that this book gives a very good blend of musical styles within the era. I would have to say that the music level is for upper intermediate to advanced students due to the more difficult rhythm patterns and musical timing (think Bach). I would recommend this book for anyone who likes or wants to play music from this era.. A Mainstay Every flutist should own this book. This is the third copy I have owned over my 55 years of flute playing.. L. Su said be careful when purchase used. Very good music, my daughter's flute teacher recommended it.Be careful to buy used, ask the seller if the flute sheet music, the one on the left. Frequently, the flute only scores which should be as separate pages are missing. You may get piano parts, then flute scores as fine print. The complete set should be the flute scores and piano parts with flute score as fine print
