It is so interesting to find out about people that have done remarkable things and no one knows about until someone like Kyra Hicks brings it to our attention. I loved this story about this woman and the women that she worked with and how they made this quilt. I also cannot help but wish that I could have seen that quilt. I did not know t. Interesting Amazon Customer An interesting little book with some fascinating historical information. However, it was a bit disorganized. For example, the section about "Obama Quilters" would have been better placed in the begining as part of the history of quilts as gifts for public figures. The section's current placement is a bit jarring.Overall, a quick and interesting read.
