This book is an argument for celibacy This book is easy to read. So are instructions as to how to microwave a frozen pizza. But at least after eating a pizza you might feel less hungry than before. After reading this book I still do not know what Ms. Des Barres experienced in her late adolescence and young adulthood. Surely she could tell readers more than that Waylon Jennings told her that she sure knew how to please a man. Surely she could tell readers more than that she had the urge to give to rock music artists as much pleasure as they gave h. "Right place at the right time" according to jeaniebeanie. This girl was totally in the right place at the right time, so she was very lucky. It's a bit sad because all she ever wanted was to marry a rock star. Eventually, she did marry a very minor one but all in all, it's kind of depressing that she was so consumed by this desperate need to be close to someone famous.
