That was a tough joint. Defying the old saws about the fleeting nature of fame and the dearth of second acts in American life, Dangerfield transformed himself from a debt–ridden aluminium–siding salesman named Jack Roy to a multimedia superstar – and stayed an icon for decades. I would laugh out loud at the beginning, but not so much in the back half.I would however recommend this book to anyone who knew Rodney, as it is a very entertaining book. If you didn't know him, and read this book, you'll wish you had of known him! Funny Man!. The book is just like Rodney: Crude richkd The book is just like Rodney: Crude, rude, and to the point. A good read if you enjoyed his schtick when he was around. There were no areas of the book where the action dragged. A good pace to this read.
