While I'm sure it's possible to write a biography of a living and currently touring performing artist without having ever caught a whole show, it's inexcusable.Hints started piling up as I had to r. This book is the mistitled story of the development of Leonard Cohen's musical career, and the biographical information, most or all of which is available elsewhere, is subservient to the story of the development of the art itself. There are some worthwhile qualities here, but since my initial enthusiasm for this book, its drawbacks have begun to outweigh its merits.Anthony Reynolds has put together an accessible but reasonably serious biography that addresses LC f.
