"Ok for its' price" according to Magnus Olsson. This is an OK book if you're a beginner at playing melodies, the chords are more complicated than the melodies so unless you're comfortable with e.g. bar chords don't bother getting this book for the sake of practicing chords. In short it's OK for it's price (I paid ~$5), but I've seen books that have ten times as many songs in them for only trice the price.. Amazon Customer said Good Supplement for your main guitar course. This book was well laid out but I noticed with all the guitar book from Hal Leonard they are laid out so the player can understand them. I have bough books in the past that just ran you in cirlces, this book keeps you on task and rocking towards your goal. I would recommend it to any level of player.. "This is a good book with some good songs, but no tablature and you have to know how to read your music well." according to Dakar. I like this book and for the price I paid is worthwhile. But you have to know your music notes and be able to read. I can read music but use tabs mostly. The thing I have a hard time with is playing songs with all the sharps, this book assumes you know all the sharps for G,F,C,D etc. and having the tabs really helps me in that regard.
