Puzzlement Simon Pegg starts this book out with the assertion that he is uncomfortable sharing his personal life with his fans. He states that he is just doing a job that he admittedly loves, but he doesn't understand why that means that he has to share his personal details with fans. Fair enough. I don't want to hear salacious details about his life anyway. But why write an autobiography/memoir at all then? Yet Simon Pegg wrote this book himself. He is one of my favorite actors, and I was interested. Mr. Colin Mcelhatton said A great read. Simon Pegg is a hilarious comedian and an overall great actor. This book is all you would expect and more. To begin with I found that he is very much capable of presenting even "heavy" topics with a light-hearted if not outright jovial manner. You never feel that something is so intense that you just have to put the book down for a while and get back to it later. I also found this auto-biography to be candid to a fault. personally enjoyed the read-through and I don't think I would mind goi. For hardcore Simon Pegg fans only J-Dubs I consider myself a pretty hardcore Simon Pegg fan. I, like many Americans, discovered him through Shaun of The Dead and ended up watching the majority of his other work and always enjoyed it (especially Spaced, which i believe is his best work).As far as the book goes, it's pretty much for devout Simon Pegg fans (the kind that has listened to all his audio commentaries and still want more).
