Nice book A reader It's a nice book with lots of pretty pictures!. Excellent Introduction to Poussin Henry Keazor offers an excellent introduction to Poussin in this work. Keazor does a fine job of sharing Poussin’s biography and offering insight on some of his most famous paintings while also shedding some light on some of his lesser known works. The paintings are reproduced well though some of them could have used a little more light. Where Keazor truly excels is tracing other artists’ influence on Poussin and, unlike too many studies of the great painters, this book doesn’t get stuck examining a single painting. While experts on Pous. "Poussin" according to Mr. William J. Walter. Promptly and efficiently dispatched and delivered in time to give to my son when he and my grandchildren came to Ireland to visit us. Poussin is not to my taste very particularly but it was excellent for the purpose.W.J. Walter
