fantastic transcriptions hal leonard is simply producing the best rock, pop, blues, and jazz books. great, detailed transcriptions from the original recordings. fantastic, no matter if you like to study how to write wind sections for commercial music or like to have a closer look at how blood, sweat and tears. "Transcriptions are very accurate, but some of the best charts weren't included" according to Dean L. Surkin. I always wanted to study the charts. There is a condensed score, which ascribes a number of parts to synthesizers (which weren't in the original recordings), but the separate horn parts are better. I found one annoying error: the songs from the first four albums were recorded with Fre. It's A Decent Book, But Nick K. This book is a mixed bag for me. The main score contains a left/right hand staff for a synth for the brass parts, so it's easier for me to read it. There are also separate sheets for each song for each brass/woodwind in the song (with the solos included).The bad things about the book
