I sing in a church choir and have been taking voice lessons for about 18 months. I walked into my next voice lesson with this book and the teacher that was just leaving said "That's a great book! I use it all the time." If you do not speak German it is a good reference to learn lyrics. If you are a fan, then having this book saves you from having to pull out the booklets from your Matthias Goerne CD cases:) DF-D wrote an excellent 17 page intro, but did not do the translations.
