Some of the keys for left hand to play in Clair de Lune is cut down by half, so it wouldn't have the breath-taking effect like that you heard from professionals on CDIf you're looking for something not too difficult to play and don't mind it doesn't sound the same, this can be for you.But the editor should have at least indicated that some are simplified versions instead of just putting the original composer's name there. That's why I rate it 3 stars.. great selections SAS Music Great selections, MOSTLY good arrangements. HOWEVER, these are NOT "piano" favorites. There are orchestra/chamber music selections transcribed and arranged, which is fine except they don't tell you where pieces come from OR opus numbers or anything like that. I use this with my more advanced students and I want them to be educated about music and where it comes from and be informed enough to know when something is a piano piece and when it is arranged FOR piano.
