Concise, Thorough, Interesting S. Adams This is an excellent book. Both the descriptions and anecdotes are very interesting. The book is very well balanced. The writing is formal and well structured. It doesn't skip on time, dates and events but it's not encyclopedic. It's an enjoyable read. You get personal details about the artists and interesting descriptions of the other Art related entries. It's not dry and cumbersome like so many reference and non-fiction books are. This is a must have book for any Artist or anyone . Good reference excellent information. Good value for the money. Well written and easy to understand. Was very glad to have found it and at a great price. Wrong book for research that I was looking for. Erroll M. Was not what I was looking fornothing wrong with the book, just not the help that I had hoped.
