Amazon Customer said Kirk Douglas at his finest. A very compelling self write autobiography by a great actor. He came from a very poor childhood riddled with the prejudice of being half Jweish and a drunken abusive father. I found this book to be an inspiration of life struggles and overcoming obstacles in early America.. A story of Kirk's love exploits Ok, now I know how many women Kirk slept with - and seemingly bragged about his "skills". That got old about 20 pages into the book.. Five Stars Great autobio of a truly great man!Long live Kirk!!
