I am not finished but really think she did a very good job of telling it like it is with wisdom, dignity and character.. W. Mitchell said Must read this book, it's a page turner!. It's a great read, I feel for her, and now understand Duane Lee more as well. I can see why things fell apart, and I don't ever want to watch that show again! They treat their own family poorly, and it's Beth's way or no way, her kids will be spoiled brats(actually they already are), then to treat the others like trash and never know your grandchildren?? Not right by any standards!!. Enjoyed the book. I enjoyed the book. I watched and enjoyed the "Dog" TV series and found it very interesting to read about the family's history and how Lyssa grew up and dealt with the dysfunction of it all.
