“An excellent look at a band whose creative evolution was tragically cut short.” —Booklist

John Haury said Broken Bottles and Wrecked Cars. How this book ever made it past verification and fact-checkers is a feat of nimble literary trickery beyond anything I have ever had the displeasure to read. Wrought full of illogical speculation, fractured truths and timelines, gross neglect and horrendous mistakes, misquotes and blatant research errors, and an obvious personal agenda and unambiguous effort to deface and insult anything and everything that is even remotely associated with what is commonly referred to as the American South - most notably the residents, their education, and their stereotypical way of life - even the discourteous and disrespectful descriptive metaphors. Amazon Customer said Lord knows I can't unread this book!. To paraphrase both the classic and current editions of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lord knows I can’t unread this book.
