I wouldn't call this a drawback, but I do think it needs to be clearly stated that this book requires so many accidentals (sharps and flats) that you'll need about every key on your simple-system ("Irish") flute, including low C. I've heard it said that most Irish folk tunes do not require a keyed flute; that may be true in theory, but the keys in which most of th. "Great collection of wonderful dance tunes, in all keys, for the flute!" according to Figmentmom. This is an awesome collection of Irish dance tunes, in all keys, for the flute. A lot of fun, and great for the technique as well.. Panzanella said Excellent resource. This is a great way to get through different keys and learn a few jigs and reels in the process. Have had success pulling these out during flute lessons and it would work for other instruments if read down an octave in most cases.
Edited especially for flute players. May be used as supplementary etudes or just for fun.
