However, I'm extremely glad that I decided to see what it entailed. Historical novels are one of my favorite genres of reading material, and while this is non-fiction, it's written in novel-like form which delighted me immensely.It's quite obvious that Evelyn Zumaya did . Amazon Customer said Is this for real?. Very strange book. Poorly written. The points the author makes are trite and obvious.It doesn't contribute much to Valentino scholarship. There are many five star reviews here. It makes me wonder where they really came from. I'm sure the book was well-intentioned but I just don't get it. I guess the author did the best she could.I hope Amazon realises that a couple of these reviews are libellous. Jean Valentino's family . corntrader19 said Excellent amd informative.. I am half way through this book and I can already say it is excellent. It is very well written and heavily researched. Evelyn Zumaya backs up what she wrote with a ton of documents.
