Ballads: Play-Along Solos for Flute A very good collection of songs that includes a CD. A useful addition to my collection of flute music books.- Artcritic. Great, great book! Catlg85 A very good book to play by. Also like having the disk to play with. Some might not like the older music but I did.. Some Hits and Some Misses Tina on Drums It's important to understand what this product is and isn't. The melody lines are completely written out. While you could use the background accompaniment for practicing jazz improvisation, there are no printed chord changes, so you would have to find those elsewhere. (Of course, this is pop music anyway, not jazz.) The pre-recorded melody on the right channel sounds like a vibraphpne. It is definitely NOT a flute (took off one star for that), because students won't hear what a good flute player sounds like hearing the tunes.
