Easier on the Eyes than Older Printings The more modern printing is definitely worth it. This is a book that many of us will be spending a lot of time with. You can start as a beginner and gradually progress towards becoming first chair in a concert band. It has a variety of exercises, and teaches the clarinetist good techniques. It also includes a fingering chart. When I was a 13 year old kid, my teacher started me with this book. By the time I was 17, he said I was good enough to audition for the Boston Pops.
