"Sex, Drugs and some Rock and Roll." according to Thomas R. Clarke. This book mainly revolves around the story of Marianne's substance abuse. There some interesting sections about her interactions with the Stones and Bob Dylan for example but always in the frame work of drugs. Her main association with the Rolling Stones was her involvement with Mick. Brian and Keith are also in the story quite a bit. Missing almost altogether are Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts who barely get a mention. It seems those two were not really part of the Stones social scene, at least in her view. The book is a fairly interesting look at the 60's and 70's time period, but the unending tales of drug abuse . Amazon Customer said It was a bit dry. I bought the book after hearing Graham Nash refer to her as the most beautiful, most enthralling woman ever. I bought the book and read about half of it. But there was no fluidity, no story, just a straight forward list of events with nothing to make me want to know what happened next. I am a voracious reader and I have always enjoyed biographies but this one was disappointing. It is only the "It was a bit dry" according to Amazon Customer.
