Informative, Engrossing Biography of the Gershwins Places Their Songs in Historical Context Informative, readable biographies of Ira and George. Usually, Ira doesn't get much voerage, but this volume remedies that lack. Very good on contextual background and history of the times in which the Gershwins worked their magic. Very interesting to read.
