At first I played If You Could Read My Mind because that was the song I was after, but then I realized the talented Mr. Lightfoot has composed so many songs I never heard (or paid attention to). This songbook and the CD have greatly made me appreciate Gordon Lightfoot! Now I have many favorites. Recently saw Mr. Lightfoot in concert and enjoyed every minute. He is now 75 years old (so kind of nice to go back in time with t. "A Great Songbook of Gordon' Songs for Intermediate Guitar Players" according to GardenSpirit. This guitar book contains a lot of songs that I have always liked and included chords that I knew and taught me some I that I didn't! I have played guitar for many years, but just started to look for collections of favorite composers like Gordon Lightfoot who had written so much for so many artists. I have always been a Gordon Lightfoot fan and have attended many of his concerts. This collection of Gord's Gold is a treasure.. "I really like G. L" according to Hooch. I really like G.L. And that is why I bought this songbook. Sadly Gordon knows a whole lore more chords than I do .
