On page 180, Mr. Chambers - in discussing possible tampering with the Zapruder film - says that "matte" scenes in movies are "literally 'painted' onto the film." But they are not. They are painted onto glass and put in front of a rolling camera to be photographed and eventually mixed with the live action. Now, Mr. Chambers is all for science and statistics. Everything is analyzed with pinpoint precision: body reaction time to bullet entry, acoustic evidence m. "incredibly detailed and well researched" according to harriet vane. With incredible detail, G. Paul Chambers takes on the enormous and often examined day in Dallas. It is a fascinating and marketable approach to the subject. The forensic detail will have every follower of CSI or SVU hanging on every word. The chapters that detail witness evidence and the medical evidence shed light into the shadows of this tragic day.
