A tremendous book, get it today!!! Lots of laughs in this one, but, there are some serious, even sad moments, too. You will read it front to back in just a day, fantastic writing.. In The Beginning. is fantastic B. Urick I bought this book after seeing The 4 Guys perform. The book is definitely a great read! I received it on a Thurs and started reading on Friday. By 10 Sat morning I was done! I couldn't put it down! A true insight into the history, trials and experiences of a wonderful group of performers! Entertaining, funny (Hoss is great!) and nostalgic all at the same time. Sam tells the story of the 4 Guys in an open and honest way that is refreshing and down to earth. For those of us ordinary folks, it is an eye opener into the world of an entertainer!Can't wait to see what Sam has in store for his next. an interesting look at the music business from the inside shelley I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She's not a big reader, but breezed through this in no time. I then did the same. We had seen The Four Guys many times in Nashville in the '70s & '80s, however, Sam gives a look inside the industry that will also interest those not familiar with the group.
