Great Book Amazon Customer I have been using this book for the past month for my private lessons and it's a really good book. Just like the title says - it is very comprehensive and it will take you from the beginning level to the intermediate level (at least). In the book, it is mentioned that it is for private lessons, so the book is not written for group lessons.. "So far so good" according to Jennifer Dennis. I have been using this book for 2-So far so good I have been using this book for 2-3 weeks now in my private lessons at VanderCook College of Music while studying to be a music educator. As a musician I like this because (from where I'm at in the book)it makes you think and practice techniques that may get neglected by more advanced musicians, but still need to be reinforced to become a higher level musician. As a future teacher I highly recommend this book for any flutist beginning level to advanced. It starts out with the literal basics of deveoping embouchure, seated position, how to hold t. weeks now in my private lessons at VanderCook College of Music while studying to be a music educator.
