Not bad, but too much material to cover This book is part of the Prentice Hall History of Music Series, which covers Western music from the Middle Ages through the 20th century, and also has a couple of non-Western music books.At first glance I thought this book had the potential to be pretty specialized, but I forgot about the explosion of music in the U.S. during the 20th century. When you include "Classical" music, Jazz, Broadway, and Rock, you . Sarah Hutchison said Fantastic!. Fantastic condition and I don't believe it has ever been read. The library cover makes it more durable, which is great with graduate school.
