The included CD contains demo excerpts and full piano accompaniments. Note that the accompaniment is piano only and does not use orchestration.. Pink Gypsy said An Excellent Book to Wow Your Audience. This book is more than just a book of Christmas carols. Each song is expertly arranged to be melodically and rythmically interesting. The piano part is beautiful and interesting to play as well. What I like about this book is that both the flute and piano gets to play melody. When the piano has the melody, the flute has some accompanying lines. Sometimes the piano is only featured so the piano player won't be bored with just accompaniment. The other thing I like about this book, is that the melody isn't boring. There is a lot of variation to the melodic line so the music isn't just the fam. Liz Walker said Great collection!. I find that most flute Christmas collections are a little boring for the advanced flutist. This collection is interesting and fun to play. The piano accompaniment CD is great, as well. It is not always easy to find an accomplished pianist. Now I can play the music by myself if I want. What a great find!
