I grew up listening to these two songsters. I loved the deep voice of oh so handsome Nelson Eddy and the beautiful, thrillingly high soprano, Jeanette Mac Donald. What a team they were, only I didn't know how much of a team they were! Beautifully written and charged with so much information. It brought tears to my eyes, anger into my mind, and sorrow in my heart for them. I found myself deliberately waking early so as to sit quietly in my chair absorbing the portions of their story. Excellent reading and very informative if you are a big fan of both. Almost cried at the end of the book considering how their lives turned out.
