As Expected I am a music teacher, and most of my young students love the Disney music. Unfortunately, regardless of the label "easy", Disney seems to always insist on keying their songs with flats and sharps, syncopated rhythm, and too-often mid-song key changes. I've used the Disney books for students of piano, as well as violin, and the same issues apply. What is so difficult about making a piano book with songs in the key of C, or maybe even occasionally G or F.? Would it be asking too much to simplify that syncopation so that measures could be easily read by beginners?? Must a violin book include flatted keys??. KATE said Fun & light. Simple compositions that bring a smile to listeners. Adult & children alike. Again, these are not overly detailed pieces. Just the bare bones.. Great music, easy to pick up for a beginner SCarr Great music, easy to pick up for a beginner. The only complaint I have is that there are no songs from movies created beyond 1989 (The Little Mermaid), including several that I have never heard of. Otherwise, great value and it makes me excited to practice piano!
