"Excellent Recounting of Cash's Artistic Rebirth" according to Tim Field. I read Robert Hilburn's massive biography of Johnny Cash published a few years ago and while I enjoyed its sweeping survey of the Man in Black's career I found that I preferred Graeme Thomson's more narrowly focused book, The Resurrection of Johnny Cash. Thomson does a fine job in describing how Cash lost his way as an artist in the 70's and 80's and his struggles to regain his audience and make memorable ne. "great book" according to Diane M. Milinkovich. Very informative and interesting, I am sure our patrons at the library will like this book. A+A++A+A+A+ thank you again. J.
