The book was uninteresting and if all a person wants to know is his experiences as a song writer and musician, then this is your kind of book. I just felt it was boring and couldn't wait for it to be OVER!. Missing the soul of the book I really wish Michael's book contained more of the soul in which he refers to several times within the book. It's as if he's skimmed through his life telling a lightly layered sugar coated story of his celebrity encounters. And it pains me to say that! I truly enjoy his music and have been looking forward to this read. This book offers the tip of the iceberg and little else. You know his life has had a lot of grit with eighteen years struggling to make it since he was a teenager getting stoned with his friends, marrying, having children, struggling to pay the bills, divorcing, dating, his perils as a single father, etc. He tells you all this
