My Favorite Tin Whistle Book So Far I am a rank beginner whistle player, and this book, with its two CD included, is my favorite so far. I started with The Clarke Tin Whistle by Bill Ochs, and learned the basics. Then, when I wanted more to play, I found this. What fun! I'm not past the beginner section yet, but it's great to be able to play some of my favorite Irish tunes, such as Roddy McCorley, Come to the Hills, The Foggy Dew - all in the beginner . Great Book, but make sure you get the right version. Lynn B. This is a nice book of tin whistle (or flute) music. The printing is well done, and the tunes are arranged by difficulty, which is great for newcomers to the whistle. I had only been playing for about a month when I purchased this, and I was afraid it would be too complicated, but it wasn't. (I am about 2/3 of the way through the Bill Ochs Clarke Tin Whistle book, to give you an idea of where I am at. I basically wor. Amazing book. Great for Irish flute and the tin whistle.
