As a former FBI agent, as I am, or if you're interested in things FBI, this is a celebration of the humorous and human side of work and wisdom in the trenches.. This is a review I published on Goodreads after reading this book: There are a number of books people interested in the work of the FBI should read. Specifically ones written by special agents themselves, such as Bob Ressler or John Douglas. These books will give you an accurate representation of what being an FBI Special Agent entails. Some of it is not easy reading, as you might imagine. But FBI agents are not the dour government shady types that we see in the movies or TV and read about in books. They are not shoot first and ask questions later. They are not at all th. "Insiders and Outsiders will enjoy" according to Ex-FBI Geezer. Law enforcement officers will recognize many of the funny and improbable stories as true. Outsiders will get a view inside the outrageous and memorable anecdotes that are unimaginable but true.
