If you don't know about the Canadian "group of seven" and in particular, Lawren Harris,then this book is an excellent way to be introduced to some incredible art. It is richly illustrated with a number of Harris paintings beginning with his very early work to his later pieces. I find the story of the "group of seven" founded by Lawren Harris to be captivating.
