A Very Comprehensive Biography Michelle P. Anderson I am so glad the author wrote this book about Faron Young. I thought he'd been forgotten. His music meant so much to me, but I thought I was the only one who cared.This is a very comprehensive story about Faron's life and his ascent and descent in the world of country music.Weaved throughout this story is Faron's alcohol addiction. It resonated with m. Great read. Good summer read. I was lucky enough to have been at one of his shows where he signed my shirt. I was a young teen and have been in love with that voice ever since. The book opened new insights into the life he led. Many things I never would have known about this man with the most beautiful voice.. Far on Young Story was superbly written with his life as it really was. What a great loss and I am sure the in Country Heaven Fa Arleen Collazo It is an excellent portrayal of life where someone you think is on top of the world is actually suffering in silence.
