I would never have guessed that she and I had anything in common other than being in Northern New Mexico, (she was from a small Minnesota town where I went to college, which I did not know at the time.) This book has many details of her performances and publications; the use of her FBI file as a source for the book is amusin. TS said Must-read for music lovers and teachers and anyone with heart.. What an amazing book! Detailed and a total page turner. Such a great reminder of how music can bridge cultures, enliven hearts and provide a thread through hardship.. I thoroughly enjoyed the book Karen Brittain I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I live in the same general area and have personally met the subject the book was written about.
