Good bio on the Mumford and Sons I have been a fan since their first records came out. This is a pretty complete bio, including info on the parents. It explains a lot about how they got where they are and how their music came about. It is worth reading if you want a lot of info and background.. "A Thin Varnish" according to Nathan. I am a huge Mumford and Sons fan, and I received this book as a Christmas present. Yet it seems I will be the voice of dissent here. This was a fun read. Don't get me wrong, I read on, and I read all. But I was a bit disappointed in the information presented. Half of the background was on Marcus alone -- now as the band's frontman, that makes sense, but Winston Marshall, for example, is notoriously hard to find information on. I was hoping to find a bit like that. There was also weird speculation about Marcus' sexuality, and I kind of feel like she just threw that in there just to stir things up.Moreover, the song . Christina Parg said I think that a sign of a good song is when different people find something that feels. I dont know about some of the stuff in this book, I think that a sign of a good song is when different people find something that feels like the song is written just for you, its when everybody can relate to something in their own lives when listening to the lyrics. And its O.K , you can just use the song to feel better in your own life so I dont take that much notice of what other people think is the "real meaning of the song"
