The State however, has been largely unnoticed over the course of the years, even though they have gone on to amazing careers in entertainment.Corey Stulce took it on himself to write the history of this prolific group. From the. Even better than expected. This book is fantastic. I was expecting a biographical storytelling, but was even more excited to find that this story is told almost exclusively through first hand accounts by the members themselves.The picture painted also goes far beyond a simple history of the group, as it offers an interesting insight on New York's comedy scene at the time, as well as the inner workings of an MTV that was at the top of its game.. Required reading It's a complete and wonderful history of The State, and it adds another dimension to something we already know and love. Anyone who's a fan of The State, its many offshoots (wet hot, etc), or comedy in general, must read this.
