BEAUTIFUL & INSPIRING This book has given me many hours of pleasure. And to think I almost didn't buy it because of one negative review! Nell Blaine, arguably one of the best painters of the American 20th century, is a master of composition and color. The book's text and reproductions do her life and work justice.. My take on Nell Blaine book Having seen some of her originals, I think the reproductions of her paintings - both oils and watercolors, are excelent. They're just a joy to look at. Martica Savin's biography and discussion of Nell Blaine's work was fascinating and her life a revelation. A very satisfying addition to my collection of Art Books.
